Braised Duck meat & blood (EVERY GOOD TEOCHEW RESTAURANT'S PRIDE!!!)

This dish, truly, is very Teochew. And the one here is soooo well done. As we were going thru out plate, lo n behold, beneath the meat was a layer of duck blood. Wow! Its like delicacy to us since its banned in Singapore for the longest time. Yumms! Perfect surprise!

Fried Squid with Salted Egg

My fav dish tonight, I think I can go thry the entire plate with no other dishes if you give me a bowl of fluffy white rice. I know... so ah-tiong, right? But I can't help it. Food with high cholesterol really satisfies my appetite. Geeez... my tummy is growling as I type this in.

Fried Oyster Omelette

Hehehehe... Good good good ^^ Sans the starch. Let me rephrase what I just wrote to... Shiok shiok shiok. More, please?

Steamed Prawns with Vermicelli

I didn't eat the prawns coz I dun like prawns but the others who enjoyed them said they were very fresh. I believe. To me, the noodle was damn tasty lor. Rice plus carbo. omg. jia lat. And there's more dishes. ==

Deep Fried Crispy Seabass

You know... like the Indo Gurame fried fish... same same concept. The only thing left when we were done with it was the plate with a slight sheen of oil. Everything, eat! That includes the garnish. We learn from Fifi, too.

Fried Minced Prawn Rolls (Assorted)

Huge H U G E pieces of ngoh hiang. Biggest ones I have ever seen. But damn tasty even without any dip. We had to share coz so big... versus the amount of food that was still being served.

Tom Yum Soup

I have a soft soup for spicy soup... even better then its clear and has a bit of tangyness to it... hehehe. I love them, really wakes the palette up, no??? Anyway, all in all, I think you should come visit this restaurant if you are crazing Teochew style zi char OR simple ZI CHAR for that matter when u come to bkk.

Good Chinese food ROCKS MY BOATTTTTTTTT!!!
